Coffee is an agricultural product that offers a delicious and appreciated drink worldwide and can be used in many recipes. Below, you will find a coffee dessert recipe for every particular taste, where the coffee goes from being a drink to becoming an ideal dessert to share with the family.

1. Chocolate and coffee cake without using the oven

Ingredients

  • 225 grams of dark chocolate.
  • 200 millilitres of coffee.
  • 200 grams of square or rectangular biscuits.
  • 180 grams of liquid cream.
  • 200 grams of condensed milk.
  • Cocoa powder.
  • Coffee beans.

Preparation

To prepare this dessert, first, prepare the coffee without sugar, and while it cools down, you can melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or the microwave, as you prefer. When the chocolate is completely melted, you will add the milk cream and the liquid cream to stir and have a homogeneous mixture.

The next step is to line a cake tin with cling film or baking paper. The base should be covered with the biscuits that you should dip in coffee, ensuring they don’t break. Then add a layer of the previously made mixture and start alternating the layers of biscuits with the chocolate until you finish with a layer of biscuits.

Finally, cover the mould with cling film and put it in the freezer for 3 hours. Then remove the mould from the freezer to unmould, cut, and serve. However, it is recommended that you wait 30 to 40 minutes before serving to make removing the cake from the mould easier. To decorate the recipe, sprinkle cocoa powder and add a few coffee beans to the cake.

2. Coffee jelly with cinnamon cream

Ingredients

  • 10 grams of instant coffee.
  • 120 grams of heavy cream.
  • 500 millilitres of milk.
  • 5 grams or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • 2 sachets of unflavoured gelatine.
  • 14 grams or 2 tablespoons of warm water.

Preparation

In a saucepan, heat the milk with 10 grams of instant coffee. To the previous mixture, add the condensed milk, dissolve the unflavoured gelatine with two tablespoons of warm water and finally add 70 grams of milk cream. All these ingredients should be stirred together very well with the help of a blender or a fork.

To make the recipe, you can divide it into ten individual bowls or a large mould. Afterwards, put the mixture in the fridge for 3 hours until the gelatine becomes firm. Mix the remaining cream with the cinnamon powder and whisk to a homogeneous mixture. To finish, remove the moulds from the fridge, remove the jelly from the moulds, and unmould. You can sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the dessert as decoration.
