Coffee is an agricultural product that offers a delicious and appreciated drink worldwide and can be used in many recipes. Below, you will find a coffee dessert recipe for every particular taste, where the coffee goes from being a drink to becoming an ideal dessert to share with the family.
1. Chocolate and coffee cake without using the oven
- 225 grams of dark chocolate.
- 200 millilitres of coffee.
- 200 grams of square or rectangular biscuits.
- 180 grams of liquid cream.
- 200 grams of condensed milk.
- Cocoa powder.
- Coffee beans.
To prepare this dessert, first, prepare the coffee without sugar, and while it cools down, you can melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or the microwave, as you prefer. When the chocolate is completely melted, you will add the milk cream and the liquid cream to stir and have a homogeneous mixture.
The next step is to line a cake tin with cling film or baking paper. The base should be covered with the biscuits that you should dip in coffee, ensuring they don’t break. Then add a layer of the previously made mixture and start alternating the layers of biscuits with the chocolate until you finish with a layer of biscuits.
Finally, cover the mold with cling film and put it in the freezer for 3 hours. Then remove the mold from the freezer to unmould, cut, and serve. However, it is recommended that you wait 30 to 40 minutes before serving to make removing the cake from the mould easier. To decorate the recipe, sprinkle cocoa powder and add a few coffee beans to the cake.
2. Coffee jelly with cinnamon cream
- 10 grams of instant coffee.
- 120 grams of heavy cream.
- 500 millilitres of milk.
- 5 grams or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
- 2 sachets of unflavoured gelatine.
- 14 grams or 2 tablespoons of warm water.
In a saucepan, heat the milk with 10 grams of instant coffee. To the previous mixture, add the condensed milk, dissolve the unflavoured gelatine with two tablespoons of warm water and finally add 70 grams of milk cream. All these ingredients should be stirred together very well with the help of a blender or a fork.
To make the recipe, you can divide it into ten individual bowls or a large mold. Afterward, put the mixture in the fridge for 3 hours until the gelatine becomes firm. Mix the remaining cream with the cinnamon powder and whisk to a homogeneous mixture. To finish, remove the molds from the fridge, remove the jelly from the molds, and unmould. You can sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the dessert as decoration.
3. Coffee tiramisu
- 2 egg whites.
- 175 millilitres of coffee.
- 400 grams of mascarpone cheese.
- 200 grams of dark chocolate.
- 4 egg yolks.
- 100 grams of sugar.
- 200 grams of biscuits.
- Cocoa powder.
The basis of this recipe is to prepare a strong espresso. Beat the eggs until they reach stiff peaks, and set this mixture aside. In another bowl, stir the egg yolks with the sugar and the mascarpone cheese until everything is well integrated to have a good tiramisu.
With these two mixtures ready, you must be as careful as possible when you add the stiffly beaten egg whites to the sponge cake. First, you must soak each sponge cake in cold coffee. Then you put a layer of cream and another layer of sponge cakes until the cake is filled. Finally, cover with mascarpone cream and decorate with cocoa powder.
4. Coffee and nougat cup
- 4 eggs.
- 200 grams of sugar.
- 1 liter of milk.

When the milk is boiling, add the milk mixed with the flour.
Afterward, you will stir for 5 minutes over low heat until the whole mixture is thickened. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar at the same time and in a different bowl. Add the coffee and stir the whole mixture. Finally, put the coffee base in a glass, which should be cold, and add a little whipped cream and the nougat ice cream on top.
