- Aniseed star: 1.
- Ginger: 2 thin slices
- Milk: 1/2 cup.
- Mineral water: 1 1/2 cup.
- Sugar or sweetener to taste
How to make chai tea
Although it may seem complicated because of the many ingredients it has, it really is a simple recipe. In a few minutes you will have your chai tea easy and fast. The first step is to start making the black tea. It is prepared by placing a pot with a little water, when it starts boiling we put the black tea bag and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Once ready, we leave it to be used later.
Now, we proceed to prepare the herbs and spices. First, we will take the cloves and cardamom seeds, to squeeze them until they are broken. Then we will put all the spices in a pot with the water, without the ginger. We put the pot on the cooker on a low heat, to boil little by little and all the properties remain in the water. There we let it rest for 10 minutes.
With regard to the ginger, grate the two slices of ginger over the spice mixture. Also, add the black tea that we had already prepared, together with the milk and the sweetener you prefer (the amount you like). Now, wait a few minutes for the mixture to finish merging. Once ready, we strain the contents to remove the seeds and spices and, presto! we have our chai tea easy and fast.

For the preparation of chai tea, you can buy the ingredients separately or buy preparations that some contain most or all of the ingredients. What are the following:

- 1/2 cinnamon stick.
- 1/2 star anise.

This preparation is quite simple, the first step is to put water in a pot to boil. When the water is boiling, we will add the spices, but first we lower the fire. Once all the ingredients are in, we leave it in the fire for about 3 minutes. Stir it from time to time.
Then we let it rest, and in another pot we add the milk. But, without stopping stirring and without letting it start boiling (we only need to heat it). Now, we proceed to strain the first mixture we made with the spices and herbs. We serve it in a cup and add 1/3 of the already heated milk.
The other part of the milk, we reserve it to vaporize. When it is ready, we add the steamed milk, adding the foam in the cup to give the final touch to our latte tea. And that’s it!
