Launched in 2021, Nespresso’s World Explorations range brings us closer to incredible corners of the world with the coffees it offers. Allowing us to discover coffee cultures and rituals from around the world. Without a doubt, an experience of travel and exploration through our palate.
New flavours have now been added to this range, including Paris Espresso, Istanbul Espresso, Rio de Janeiro Espresso and the limited edition Miami Espresso. These are well-thought-out flavours inspired by cities with deep-rooted coffee traditions.
Istanbul, for example, represents the cradle of the first coffee traders, Paris today is the city with some of the most prestigious coffee shops in the world, and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) stands out as the world’s largest coffee producer. Miami was included in a limited edition as a symbol of Cuban coffee culture in this city.

Istambul Espresso Istanbul flavour from the Nespresso World Explorations range
Feature | Description |
Name | Istambul Espresso |
Range | World Explorations |
Intensity | 8 |
Type | New |
This intense flavour pays homage to traditional Turkish coffee. A blend of Ethiopian Arabica and Indian Robusta beans forms a thick, velvety beverage. Its notes of ripe wild fruits with a delicate hint of almond transport us to traditional Turkish coffee shops.
It has a design inspired by this city, not only because it was once key to the ancient coffee trade routes but also because of its characteristic spice trade in the Grand Bazaar today. It is a yellow turmeric pod with Arabic geometric motifs and designs based on Iznik ceramics.
These Turkish ceramics go through a meticulous process of elaboration and craftsmanship. This makes them unique pieces nourished by a rich cultural heritage. Similar to the experience offered by the coffees in the World Explorations range.
Type of preparation | Experience |
Espresso neat | To enjoy as a local would: Accompany your espresso with a glass of water and Turkish delight. |
Espresso with milk | Enjoy it as a Flat White for a balanced and warm morning coffee. |
