I’m Pablo Barrantes, the creator of this humble website dedicated to all things coffee and coffee makers.
My weakness has always been indulging in endless conversations with good company and even better coffee. I always sought cosy spots that served genuine espresso or a marvellous cappuccino, complete with perfect foam until the last sip.
After six years, I graduated from Extremadura University in Spain with a degree in industrial engineering. This program was supposed to last only three years. Before you pass judgment, though, let me tell you that since I was 17, I’ve been working in cafeterias while simultaneously attending classes. I’ve spent a lot of time at the university cafeteria!
Over time, my friends and family have always come to me for advice on coffee-related matters or to help repair their coffee machines. As an industrial engineer, I’m skilled at assembling and dismantling things.
Eventually, I decided to start writing down all the information they asked me so I wouldn’t have to repeat myself ten times. Now, I can refer them to my website.
