  • 1 spoonful of salt.
  • 1 spoonful of pepper

  • 3 glasses of ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons of wine vinegar.
  • 4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of grated onion

These quantities will last for approximately 6 people.

How to make pork ribs with coffee, step by step

To start, prepare your pork ribs. Make sure that when you go to the butcher’s to buy your meat, you make a good selection that will leave you satisfied. The first step to make this delicious dish as you want is that you are satisfied with the meat you have at your disposal. The better the meat, the better the recipe for pork ribs with coffee (or any other preparation).

Now we can start the preparation. And the first thing we will do is the coffee sauce that will accompany our ribs.

First, pour the coffee into a bowl, together with the ketchup, sugar, wine vinegar, spoonful of salt, a spoonful of pepper, Worcestershire sauce and onion. You should mix all these ingredients in such a way that you get a completely homogeneous preparation. The result will be a kind of paste or cream (depending on the density you want to give it) that will be in charge of giving flavour to the meat.

Now it’s time to cut the ribs into portions and put them on a tray. In the meantime, make sure you turn the oven on at 180° so that it heats itself.

You can now pour your prepared ingredients over the pork ribs. Make sure that the ribs are completely covered so that this recipe for pork ribs in coffee is delicious.

The aim is to make sure that the sauce or paste you have made with the mixture soaks up all the ribs, so you can use a very tall dish, but not too wide so that the meat is well covered. It doesn’t have to be the baking tray you use so that you can change them before baking.

The aim now is to make the pork ribs taste good. The longer you leave them to macerate, the more flavour they will get.

Note: We recommend that you leave the pork ribs in the fridge overnight.

Once a few hours have passed, you can take your ribs into the oven and leave them there to cook for approximately 40 minutes at 180ºC. It is important to observe the cooking process from time to time. The times we have given you are approximate, but in the end, the result depends a lot on several factors:

  • Whether the ribs are more or less thick.
  • If you like them more golden on the outside or little done on the inside, or the other way around.
  • Of, if they are very covered or little covered by the sauce during cooking (this depends on the size of the tray or dish you use).

But relax! You don’t have to stand next to the oven all the time. We also suggest that after 25 minutes in the oven, you can turn the pork ribs in the coffee to make sure they are done perfectly on both sides. Use a fork and the oven mitt to avoid burning yourself because the tray will be super hot.

That’s all there is to it. You are now ready to enjoy this delicacy of pork ribs in coffee. We suggest you accompany your pork ribs with coffee, for example, with some boiled potatoes if you want it to have a stronger effect. It is also possible, for example, to accompany it with a vegetable puree if you prefer a lighter finish.
